Consecutive vs. Simultaneous Interpretation
- Consecutive interpretation is most often used in small group settings, such as a client meetings, legal depositions and medical consultations.
- Simultaneous interpretation, in contrast, is most often used in large settings, requiring the rental of audio equipment such as sound-proof booths, microphones and headsets.
